Belize Caves

The caves in Belize, made of limestone, are part of the reserves in the country. At one point they were inhabited by the Mayans and later they were flooded and now these networks of caves are crossed by rivers that make special the way they can be explored. The best way is to cave tubing, get on a donut-shaped float, and navigate through this network of caves on the river. During the journey you can also see some Mayan objects inside the caves.

After the walk to get to the caves you will realize that it is quite an adventure; after entering the cave you will enjoy the refreshing breeze. The cave tubing is guided by 2 or 3 guides who make sure that the row of the cave tubing is in the perfect place so that the view is ideal. Although at first your sight has to adapt to the darkness, little by little you glimpse the immensity of the caves, which continue for several miles. Each participant is given a helmet with a flashlight, which makes the experience even better, since you will be able to see what your head wants making the cave tubing great.
