Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve is located in the Cayo District of southern central Belize. It is most commonly accessed from the town of San Ignacio, which is a 50 kilometers drive and takes about 1 hour. A 4x4 car is highly recommended, especially during the rainy season, as many of the roads within the reserve are unpaved and can be rough or muddy.
