For adventure and nature lovers we have this moderate level itinerary that will leave you enchanted. Visit the rain forest, navigate rivers in tubes through impressive caves, enjoy snorkeling in crystal clear waters and rest on the beautiful Caye Caulker.
Tour Program 8 Days / 7 Nights
Day 1: Welcome to Belize!
After going through immigration and customs, at the airport exit, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to San Ignacio.
Day 2: Zipline and Tire Tube Cave Tour
After breakfast, you will travel the West Highway until reaching the Branch Outpost Caves in the Nohoch Che'en archaeological reserve. This adventure begins with safety instructions and equipment testing for the zipline tour. You will slide down cables suspended in the trees through the rain forest. Afterwards you will start the tubing tour adventure with the river entering a cave. At the end you will have free time to float freely down the river while you wait for lunch. At the end, transfer back to San Ignacio.
Day 3: Caracol and Mountain Pine Ridge
This day visit the Chiquibul forest reserve to explore the most famous Mayan site in Belize: Caracol Mayan Temple. After a picnic lunch in Caracol, transfer to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. A stop at the Río Frio Cave and the natural pools are included. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel in San Ignacio.
Day 4: San Ignacio
You will have this day at your disposal to relax, enjoy the surroundings, the hotel facilities and rest after two demanding days.
Day 5: San Ignacio - Caye Caulker
After breakfast transfer to the airport in Belize City to take a short flight to Caye Caulker. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Caye Caulker. You will have the rest of the day free to enjoy the beach and explore on your own.
Day 6: Snorkeling in Hol Chan Marine Reserve
After breakfast, go to the pier to meet the captain of the boat who will take you to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and the Shark Ray Alley where you will have your first dip in the water. You can swim through the coral reefs seeing abundant marine life in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve (Maya for Small Channel). The second dive will be in Shark Ray Alley, where you can swim with the friendly rays, brown nurse sharks, turtles and the different types of colorful reef fish like snappers and cats. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours so you will have the rest of the day in Caye Caulker, enjoy the hotel and relax.
Day 7: Leisure Day
You will have this day free to enjoy the beach, the hotel and the laid back atmosphere of Caye Caulker.
Day 8: Departure
Today you will take the plane back to Belize City and then take your flight back home.
