Lamanai Mayan Temple and New River Safari
Lamani is one of the largest Mayan sites in Belize, located on the shore of the 30-mile-long New River Lagoon in the Orange Walk district. As you embark on the New River to the Lamanai Mayan temples you will cross many small streams and lagoons where you can see different wildlife such as birds and monkeys. Upon disembarking, and after a short rest, you will start the archaeological walk where you will visit the most important temples and squares, including the Temple of the Masks, the Temple of the Jaguar, The High Temple and the ball game, among others. Picnic lunch on site.
